Elnaz Shakerdoost (1984)
Elnaz Shakerdoost was born in Tehran. In elementary school, she became interested in acting and later received a degree in Theater from Tehran University Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture.
When Kiyoomars Pour-Ahamd was looking for a female lead for his “Ice Flower”, he met Shakerdoost and immediately cast her in his film.
In the space of one year, Shakerdoost appeared in five films taking on diverse roles. Her acting skills in “Who Killed Amir?” and “Singles” saw her nominated for two Iran Cinema Celebration Awards. Her portrayal of a working class girl in “Unfaithful” is considered some of her best acting to date.
